The Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy is committed to the belief that everyone possesses a sensitivity to music that can be utilized for personal growth and development. The staff provides a variety of services, including individual music therapy, group music therapy sessions, and specialized music instruction, for people of all ages, with or without disabilities. 

Maria made her first appointment with Dr. Alan Turry in 1994. This collaborative exploration between them would continue for another 24 years and would inspire Dr. Turry’s own doctoral research, culminating in his dissertation, The Interconnections Between Words and Music in Clinical Improvisation.

The Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Foundation supports the Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy and can provide you with information about all types of music therapy services offered.
